Aztec inspired styled shoot
BLOG TOPIC: Mexican Magic wedding theme
A venue of dreams.
I wanted to share my latest styled shoot I had the pleasure of working on. Created by the very talented and on the day wedding co-ordinator Tasha-Mae and her very skilled side kick Ella. She found this beautiful venue a while back when visiting Penny and Graham at 'My spare garden' in Romsey, she new it needed to be featured as it provided stunning open fields, country home dating from the 13th century and gorgeous landscaped gardens.
The vision - laid back, effortless, striking and Aztec. Picking out colours from ‘South Coast marquee’ aztec cushions and throws. This gave me freedom with what colours to chose from. I drew out the pinks shades to keep the country vibe but adding a pop of purple and oranges to give that Aztec edge.
I loved creating the flowers for this shoot; A stunning floral design on Penny's archway with Carols at 'Laurel Design Studio' amazing macrame backdrop, the bridal party flowers: Courtney's hand tie, hair flowers and Ava's flower girl bouquet and then a very detailed buttonhole. Adding in Francesca green beetle brooch from Palomita Jewellery.
When I design, I love working with different textures, so whether that come with different foliages or adding in pampas grass or working in leather to tie of the bouquet and buttonholes. You will always a small or a large amount of detail in my work..
Thank you The PhotoRoom for bringing the images to life.
Here are the images of our Aztec Boho wedding.
We were very lucky with this shoot to not only get featured in 'Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding' magazine but we got front cover!! This was such a great feeling to open the post and be greeted with our work!
